We have nothing else to say, so now it’s your turn to visit the Android Market and get it! Stop wasting your time explaining your friends where you are. Use that time for something more satisfactory, like enjoying a beer under the sun in a nice terrace while you wait for your friends to arrive.

A New Year’s Resolution: New Nulaz Release

Nulaz05Today we will fulfill one of our New Year’s resolutions (signing in the gym will take longer): publish the latest Nulaz Release (version 0.5).

We have made an extra effort last Christmas to make it ready for the beginning of 2010, to start the year with great news. Lately we have seen a huge rise of downloads and user activity in Nulaz, and we really want to reward you with new features and improvements.

So, let’s go to the interesting part: what’s new?

  1. Improved general look&feel on the application.
  2. Higher performance and lower battery consumption.
  3. Merging of multiple location information sources into one profile, so we don’t have 5 entries of one restaurant, but we have 5 separate descriptions for this profile, each coming from another content partner.
  4. Addition of events to locations: you can see a calendar of upcoming events for each location
  5. Integration of Nulaz locations and external feed items. Now you upload pictures to all locations, and provide additional info!
  6. Added fancy tab system to the profiles of locations.
  7. Full touch support for new phones, as the Sony Ericsson Satio
  8. The settings section has been reorganized in a better way.
  9. Better user’s location algorithm. More accurate now!
  10. Improved the filter for external feeds and locations.
  11. Better integration with social networks (as Facebook, Twitter, Hyves…). Update your mood anywhere and have updated all your profiles!
  12. Improved the search through people and locations. Now is faster and more accurate.

We have already applied it to the main stores, but unfortunately, they take their time to approve the updates. So, in case you can’t wait, just go with your phone to www.nulaz.net and get it immediately!

And to conclude, we really, really want to thank you. All the feedback we have got recently and all the activity we have noticed in Nulaz make us feel not only happy, but even more motivated to keep improving it for your needs so you enjoy.

Here you have some screenshots of this new release:

Nulaz available in Blackberry App World

Even though we can not access the store from here in Amsterdam, we are available in it. For free! The application process took a while and they were very picky on the screenshots for some reason, but finally we made it. These stores and their submission procedures are a bit mystic, but it is defenitely a good way for us to reach a lot of people. So go ahead and see what we’ve got in store for you!

Nulaz gets Adroidified

For a little while now, we’ve been available in the Android App Market. Again, we had some minor issues to fix, but now we’re shouting it out: WE ARE AVAILABE ON ANDROID. But don’t get too exited now…it is only a web launcher that passes your location to our mobile website…..is that all??? yes. but more is coming. stay tuned folks…

Nulaz Hits the App Store

It has been sitting there for a while like a Duck literally, and a lot of shooting could be done. We had to resolve some speed and location issues, but now we can proudly announce our entrance in the store of fame: the Apple iTunes App Store. Of course, this is just a web launcher, but don’t worry, we’re cooking something special for you and consider this as the apetizer.
