M2Mobi is ready for iPad Development

This weekend, we flew to New York with one purpose: to shop. Not just shopping with the missus (although that was a side effect), but we went there to buy the iPad and we were successful. We’ve already been looking at the SDK and we’ve created a few test apps. We’ll be shortly releasing our first official iPad app.

Even though our current iPhone applications look really nice on the device, we feel that Apple has again opened up a whole new world for us. Browsing on this device is a great experience, but -as with the iPhone- the apps somehow feel nicer to play around with. You have a different moment of use, a larger screen, and more speed. This makes the device, and the apps you have to create for them significantly different.

Some marketing managers complain about the manageability of all these different platforms and creating apps for them, but we think if you embrace this new era and really think about how you can offer a custom experience for each device, it will do good for you.
